Show and tell notes: 7 November

This week's show and tell was all about how we’re developing our core page designs (our homepage, landing pages and content pages) and our Information Architecture (how content is structured within the site). This has involved a lot of user research and testing, so our lead user researcher presented this one.

Narelle revisited how we have used analytics, research, and iterative prototyping to develop page designs and content structures. This aligns with how work is delivered within the Digital Service Standards.

Narelle then spoke about how we have tested page designs with our User Research Panel, as well as at Chelmsford library and elsewhere. Narelle outlined how page designs were revised based on user testing and feedback – further details on this here.

Narelle also outlined how the team has been working with a team of experts to build the information architecture for the site—this work has been supported by robust testing, which is still in progress.
